Features galore
In the Jacquie Lawson Advent Sussex, there are 15 numbered ornaments around the main scene. Each day in December, the corresponding ornament will unlock and change color. Each tab has a different feature. This is where you can check out the music, activity calendar, scavenger hunt, or settings. There are surprises in every corner of the main screen. You can explore these by swiping in different directions.
Within the app, you will have your very own Sussex home, which features a wide variety of games for you to play. During the course of the Advent season, you may discover that some gifts have mysteriously appeared within your home. You will also find a Christmas tree waiting for you inside, which you are welcome to decorate with either free items or in-app purchases.
However, the only downside with this app, is that it mostly runs on less than 60 FPS, or frames per second. This means that the video will come out laggy and slow, which can be bothersome if you prefer smooth gameplay. It affects the quality of the video stories that it has since there is no option to crank up the FPS.
